If you're looking at the cheap £60-£100 benches on the worlds largest online retailer, do yourself a favour and find the extra £20 or so for this bench. You won't regret it. I've used some of the cheap benches and they are exactly that - cheap.
I wanted a gym-quality bench for home use on days I couldn't make it to the gym so was reluctant to go to £300+ for one of the 'big names' and I'm glad I didn't. This bench is solid, you can tell when you're putting it together. Absolutely no shaking or movement, even on heavy loads. Nice material finish, wipes down nicely and does a good job of repelling sweat unlike some other types of covering which you end up slipping around on.
There's an almost identical bench sold by another company that rhymes with FiraMit... a pal of mine has one. If you're looking at that, don't bother, the Gym Master is about £30-40 less for the same thing.

I’ve been using the GM2 Fully Adjustable FID Weight Bench for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with both the build quality and the overall performance. The bench is solid and extremely sturdy — no wobbling or instability even when lifting heavier weights. It feels very secure, whether I’m using it in the flat, incline, or decline position. The padding is firm yet comfortable, providing excellent support without feeling too soft or unstable.
The range of adjustability is fantastic, making it suitable for a wide variety of workouts. The mechanism for adjusting the angles is smooth and clicks into place confidently, which adds to the bench’s premium feel. You can tell this product was made with durability in mind — it’s built like a commercial-grade bench, yet perfect for home use.
What really stood out to me, aside from the product itself, was the customer service. The team behind GM2 are incredibly responsive and helpful. Their support continued after the sale too — they made sure I was happy with my order and answered some questions quickly and professionally.
Overall, this bench is a fantastic investment if you’re looking for quality, versatility, and peace of mind knowing the company stands behind their product. Highly recommended!

The GM3 Home Gym Power Rack must be bolted down - Each foot has 3 x 11mm holes
The required fixings vary depending on your floor type and so they are not included. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you consult a builder to recommend fixings for your specific floor.
Our fixing kit for instance which is available separately, is suitable for Masonry floors only.
